Hostinger vs ChemiCloud (2026): Cheaper for 38 Months

Disclosure: WebFin is reader-supported. If you buy hosting through links on this page, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions vary between providers and our ratings do not — here’s our full disclosure.

ChemiCloud costs $89.64 across three years and Hostinger costs $107.64. That is $18 in ChemiCloud’s favor. The same ChemiCloud figures set against SiteGround are in our SiteGround and ChemiCloud comparison.

Across six years the two reverse, and the size of the gap depends on a number ChemiCloud does not print. Hostinger totals $407.28. ChemiCloud totals between $447.84 and $555.84, because its renewal rate appears only at checkout. The crossover lands in month 38 or 39 on every figure quoted for it. The same ChemiCloud figures set against Newfold Digital’s Bluehost are in our Bluehost and ChemiCloud comparison.

Two Long Promotions Meeting Late

A promotion that ends in year one or two is the usual shape in shared hosting. Neither of these two does that.

In practice, Hostinger holds $2.99 for 48 months and ChemiCloud holds $2.49 for 36. Both are unusually long, which is why the lead changes so late and why three-year pricing barely separates them.

At month 38 the order depends on which renewal figure is right. By month 39 Hostinger is ahead on all three, and it never trails again.

The Short Answer

Hostinger, 4.2 against 3.8, on measurement rather than on price.

ChemiCloud is cheaper for more than three years and marginally quicker on global response. What it is not is stable under load.

Which Hostinger Plan Are We Comparing

⚠️ This needs stating plainly, because most reviews get it wrong including ours until recently.

Hostinger appears twice in the benchmarking project we cite throughout. Business ranks fifth of 34 hosts at 223 milliseconds globally. Premium ranks twenty-eighth at 495 milliseconds. The difference is a content network, which Premium omits.

Premium is the plan priced above at $2.99 and $10.99. So a comparison quoting the fifth-place ranking alongside Premium pricing is describing two different products — the full review sets both out.

On Global Response, ChemiCloud Is Faster

Here is the result that follows from getting the plan right.

The same project records ChemiCloud at 460 milliseconds globally and Hostinger Premium at 495. ChemiCloud is 35 milliseconds quicker on the metric that covers visitors outside North America.

Against Hostinger Business at 223 milliseconds it is not close. But Business is a different plan at a different price, and this comparison prices Premium.

Where Hostinger Wins on Measurement

Two dimensions, and both matter more than 35 milliseconds.

Load handling: ChemiCloud records 1,068 milliseconds with a 4.2 percent error rate, which is the weakest single figure in that benchmark. Hostinger Premium records 245 milliseconds and Business 31.

Uptime: ChemiCloud recorded 99.76 percent across the October 2025 to May 2026 window. Hostinger records 99.98 percent, and independent accounts elsewhere put it between 99.93 and 100.

⚠️ The same project scores ChemiCloud 6.1 out of 10 overall and describes a gradual degradation year over year, with 2025 its worst on record.

The Promotional Term Is the Whole Story

ChemiCloud’s cheapest rate requires paying 36 months in advance. That is not a footnote, it is the mechanism.

Because the promotion covers the entire three-year window, ChemiCloud’s three-year total is $89.64, against $107.64 at Hostinger. What the fourth year costs is a separate question. ChemiCloud shows the renewal only at checkout, and third-party pages quote $9.95, $11.95 and $12.95 for the same plan, which puts that year between $119.40 and $155.40 — the full field is here.

Hostinger’s multiplier is 3.68 over 48 months, from $2.99 to $10.99. ChemiCloud’s sits between 4.0 and 5.2 over 36 months, and the company does not say which. Neither host is generous at renewal. One of them at least prints the number.

The Refund Windows

ChemiCloud gives 45 days. Hostinger gives 30.

For a plan whose cheapest rate requires committing three years up front, the longer window matters more than usual. Six weeks is enough to run real traffic before the money is locked.

When to Choose ChemiCloud Instead

Your horizon is under three years and you will move or renegotiate before month 39.

Your visitors are spread globally rather than concentrated in North America, where the 35 millisecond advantage applies.

You want six weeks rather than four to test, which matters when the cheapest rate requires a three-year commitment.

How We Research

Every figure comes from the two underlying reviews, where each is attributed to a named project with its window. Where a host appears in a ranking under more than one plan, we say which plan the pricing describes. We run no tests of our own.

Our criteria are on our About page. The long versions are in our Hostinger review and our ChemiCloud review.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which is cheaper, Hostinger or ChemiCloud?

ChemiCloud until month 38 or 39, Hostinger after. Three years costs $89.64 against $107.64. Six years costs $407.28 at Hostinger and between $447.84 and $555.84 at ChemiCloud, which does not publish the renewal rate that decides it.

Which is faster?

It depends which Hostinger plan. The same benchmark records ChemiCloud at 460 milliseconds globally against 495 on Hostinger Premium, the plan priced here. Hostinger Business reaches 223 milliseconds but costs more.

Why does Hostinger appear twice in the rankings?

Because they are separate products. Business ships with a content network and ranks fifth of 34 hosts. Premium omits it and ranks twenty-eighth. Reviews that quote the fifth-place ranking beside Premium pricing are mixing two plans.

Which handles traffic spikes better?

Hostinger, decisively. ChemiCloud records 1,068 milliseconds under load with a 4.2 percent error rate. Hostinger Premium records 245 milliseconds and Business 31, from the same testing project.

What are the refund windows?

ChemiCloud gives 45 days and Hostinger 30. The longer window matters more at ChemiCloud, because its cheapest rate requires paying 36 months in advance.

The Verdict

Hostinger, 4.2 against 3.8, on measurement rather than on price.

ChemiCloud is cheaper for 38 months and marginally quicker on global response than the Hostinger plan priced here. What it is not is stable under load, where 1,068 milliseconds at a 4.2 percent error rate is the weakest figure in its own benchmark. The same ChemiCloud figures against a Cloudways server are in our Cloudways and ChemiCloud comparison.

Choose ChemiCloud if the site is small, the horizon is short and the traffic is worldwide. Choose Hostinger if anything is likely to arrive all at once. Our page on Kinsta against ChemiCloud covers a flat price beside a degrading record.
